Gabriela Noujaim

Born 1983, Rio de Janeiro. Lives and works in Rio de Janeiro.
A graduate in printmaking from UFRJ (2017), Noujaim’s practice explores the limits and possibilities of this craft. She sources elements for her paperwork projects in video and photography in order to make images permanent in time. Her recent work frequently addresses the imbalance and destruction of nature and indigenous cultures. Noujaim has exhibited widely internationally and is represented by Gallery Simone Cadinelli.
