Hong Kong

Born in 1973 in Fujing, China and lives in Hong Kong, Jaffa received BFA, MFA at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She specializes in large-scaled mixed media sculptural installations, which are mainly made with recycled materials. Her work explores issues relating to local culture, history, society and current affairs. Her project views and thoughts of ordinary people through her non-narrative and dialogical installations. She received Asian Cultural Council award (2006) and the Commendation Award presented by the Secretary of Home Affairs, Hong Kong (2017).
