I think it’s a marvellous idea to have a biennale for women and I’m very honoured to be asked to be the godmother. It’s about time that women got recognition for their work, they have their own stories to tell and a different perspective on the world. I hope the climate for women artists keeps improving. I send my best wishes for the whole enterprise and I’m sure it will be a great success.
