Born 1961, in Bangkok, where she lives and works.
Santipak’s work delves into the female body and the experiences of a woman. She is renowned for the conceptual use of a composite symbol, central to her work, which merges the female breast and the Buddhist stupa, the quintessential shrine of Thai Theravada Buddhism. Her practice encompasses a variety of media including painting, drawing, installation, textiles, ceramics to name a few.
