Macau-born, Hera has a BA in calligraphy and painting in 2013 and graduated with MA in 2017. Hera studied Chinese painting but she has developed a strong interest in photography since 2010. She used film photography to recording the different aspects of cities, and began to practice cyanotype to develop and shape her images on different paper such as rice paper or cardboard to experiment different effects.
