Krupa Makhija

Born 1983, in Patan. She lives and works in Baroda.

Krupa Makhija artistic practice reflects on issues of cultural memory, especially the loss of material and intangible heritage through human intervention. Through her work, she attempts to recover and to reactivate historical ties between peoples and their memories, which she frequently articulates with site-specific notations.
