Born in Macau, Lai Sutweng majored in oil painting in the Macau Polytechnic Institute and studies in the Art Academy of Guangzhou currently for a Master Degree. In 2014, she won the Orient Foundation Art Prize. Her work explores conflicts between nature and humans and expresses mankind’s dependence on nature and its rebellion against it.
