Canada

Nadine Norman (b. 1964, Toronto) is a Canadian artist based in Paris, France. Her work lives in the interstices of the museum and public space through performative installations which include movement and interactive participation with the public. She explores various themes including feminism, especially in the relation between its repression by society, and always fueled with site-specific aspects. Her work is research-based, in dialogue with the audiences she interacts with.

Nadine Norman’s participation in ARTFEM2020 is officially sponsored by the Canada Council for the Arts and by the Canadian Consulate in Macau and Hong Kong.
